I finally got around to reformatting this document in Open Office and have now uploaded it. All you needed to know about writing Spectrum games but were afraid to ask in 94 pages:

Well, I'm not a creative Spectrum person (although I do play games) but I'm always interested in stuff like this, so I've already downloaded and will have a read on my tablet later!

Thanks for sharing!

Having received 2 or 3 emails a month (for several months) telling me this document was no longer available I figured it was about time it was re-uploaded.

The latest version (1.0) is available from the usual place: 19 chapters, 97 pages including a new section on game design, should anyone be interested to hear my deranged scribblings on the subject. It's also hosted on the Spanglefish site itself rather than a filehosting site, so hopefully it won't disappear again.

Those of you on Facebook will also be able to download the file from the Z80 Assembly for the ZX Spectrum group.
